A new more versatile thread locking material has been added. The C-14 Flop-Stoppers V2 was designed for imaging and permanent installation. However, now, because of the Flop-Stoppers innovative design the benefit of locking your mirror is simple and easy for everyone!! The C-14 Flop-Stopper stabilizes mirror shift while focusing and virtually eliminates mirror flop while slewing. Two locks are included in the price. These are high quality items that have been produced on CNC machines and made with black anodized aluminum and stainless steel parts for long wear. WeatherWatcher Server for ACP
WeatherWatcher Server for ACP and WeatherWatcher stand alone are a innovative program that automatically monitors the weather conditions at your observatory. THIS VERSION IS NOW COMPATIBLE WITH THE BOLTWOOD CLOUD SENSOR VERSIONS I and II. Using a simple setup you can choose weather parameters that are important to your particular location. When the weather limits are reached the observatory will either not open or close in an orderly way to protect your equipment. Of course other precautions must be taken to protect your equipment. If the power goes out or your computer crashes you will have not have this protection. Always have a power back up for your observatory.

Caution: automation of any rolling roof observatory requires special attention with regard to the position of the telescope and mount prior to moving the roof to ensure it does not obstruct the roof's path. Serious damage to the telescope, mount or the observatory may occur if this advise is not followed. Therefore, we recommend that all users of WeatherWatcher install an interlock system that will prevent movement of the roof unless the telescope/mount is in a safe position before attempting to use WeatherWatcher to automate roof movements. For example use the obstruction sensors include with the garage opener package to sense if the telescope is obstructing the roof's path, or install other devises that will detect roof path obstructions.
